This Roller Shutter Controller insert allows controlling motors for jalousies and blinds both via Z-Wave wirelessly and locally utilizing a traditional wall switch. The device is placed in a wall box right behind the normal switch. The switch is not longer directly connected to the load but acts as input device for the insert that is controlling the load.This relay is able to detect the position of the shutter by using the patterned power measuring method. So it can be remote controlled not only fully up or down, but also can be adjusted to e.g. 30% or 50%. And when manual controlled by using the push button, the controller also can memorize the position and send the new shutter position to its controller (ex. IP-Gateway).The new smart relay calibration technology can reduce the inrush current caused by the load and let the module work perfectly with many kind of roller shutter.

As part of a Z-Wave network, the TZ71 will also act as a wireless repeater to insure that commands intended for another device in the network are received. This is useful when the device would otherwise be out of the radio
range of the wireless controller.When TZ71 Embedded switch connect with mechanical switch, the connected mechanical switch can still work by manual control the attached load even if this electronic switch module broken, to provide users with the lighting needs, avoid the system paralysis and enhance the dependability of the system.

The TZ76 Z-wave Insert switch control module is a transceiver which is a z-wave enabled device and is fully compatible with any z-wave enabled network. Mini Size Design let the module can easily put into the wall box and still have enough space to install the traditional wall switch and easily hide itself into the wall box and that still be good for the house decoration.With this micro module an existing installation can be turned into a z-wave enabled smart system keeping the original switches in place.This is particularly useful if you are using switches of a particular pattern and don't want to change them.The module can be controlled with or with out mechanical switch.which means you  can control the light by connecting L+N only.

Z-Wave Insert Switch
Electrical switches and dimmers control electric loads in general and lamps in particular. Electrical switches typically switch all kind of loads but the application of dimmers is restricted to lamps. Depending on the dimmer method only resistive incandescent or a broader range of inductive and reactive loads are dimmable.
When installing an electrical switch or dimmer the wiring system is important. There are 2-wire and 3-wire systems. In a 2-wire system the pattress box offers only the incoming and the outgoing wire. No neutral wire (blue) is available. In order to power the electronics of the switch or the dimmer a minimum load needs to be connected to the device. In the 3-wire system the neutral wire (blue) is available and connected to the device. The device is powered from the incoming wires regardless of attached loads.
Switches or dimmers are either provided as pattress box insert without any local operation or they are wall switches with local switching paddles. In case of the manufacturer Popp the box insert can be completed with a switching paddle and a mounting frame and becomes a fully functional wall switch with local operations.Wall switches and wall dimmers typically receive Z-Wave commands and perform local switching and dimming. They are controlled by a Z-Wave controller and powered by the 230 V they are switching or dimming.
